So crazy thing happened this week! I went to prison... I was not arrested tho. We went to go and teach some people there and give them some supplies from the church. It was interesting how  they responded to the message of the Plan of Salvation. Most thought it was amazing and were asking if they still had a chance. We were able to respond as long as we do everything we can in life that is permitted us, there can always be hope.

They really enjoyed the message but sadly we are not going to be able to go back. They requested for Book of Mormons so... we gave then 56 copies to give to some of the mates that we talked to. Needles we lead the Mission in placing Books of Mormons haha.

Besides that we also  received many referrals this week. One was named Princess. She is great she is super interested and we will be seeing her tomorrow. She has already accepted to be baptized on the 8th of Sep. So it was a great week. Also Wendy was not baptized sadly she is traveling but when she gets back we shall see.
I hope you guys are having a good time. Remember who you are and what you stand for. Also quick challenge. Try placing a Book of Mormon this week.

We also were able to baptize three sister this last week.Their names are Flora who is 14, Genavive who is 12, and Hanna who is 8 and a child of record even tho the dad is less active. But i am super happy about there little family! I hope we can continue helping them especially the dad. Try to remember there family in your prayers.

So this week was GREAT! We had zone conference and it was super uplifting. We talked about the power of the Book of Mormon and how it is not our job to show people that it is true. Our job is to help people understand that if they read it the it will help them understand for them selves. It helped me in my teaching this week even tho we had many meetings with President Webster, our zone, and the Stake. In one of our lessons with a man named Kwame he was just not understanding how we knew that the Book Of Mormon was true. That is was when I remembered how i can not make him believe. So I stopped the lesson and asked have you even read the book? He looked at me and said no. We then began to read Moroni 10. He then took Moroni's challenge to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. After we had prayed he said that he felt something and was unsure about what it was....needless to say he will be coming to church this week and hopefully baptized in the next three weeks.

Beside that the temperature is good still 85 and high humidity but I am super used to it so it feels normal. In Dichemso, which is part of Kumasi, it is like a big town. Imagine a more rundown, no skyscraper LA. Haha! Also this week I made french toast and we bought some peanut butter...It was amazing! That night tho we were given Goat and palm nut soup. the goat still had some hair on it so... ya not cool.

Now in my reading currently in the Book of Mormon i was reading in 2 Nephi 9 in verse 40 it talks about how Christ has spoken things and some see it to be hard other not so much. the reason behind it is that those that see it to be hard are usually going contrary to the will of God. Yet those that do what they are need to see the things that God tells them to be strengthening and something that will help the develop to the person that they need to become. We just need to understand that yes some things will be hard but when we begin to grumble you need to ask yourself something. Am I facing the people representing God or facing God representing the people. So I hope you enjoyed this little insight and i hope you guys have a great week.
